Our Celebrants are fully trained and accredited, and most importantly are chosen by us for the high calibre of ceremonies we know they deliver. All our Celebrants adhere to our Agnostic Scotland Behaviour Charter, Code of Conduct and Fair Pay for Celebrants pricing structure. We pride ourselves on the warmth and empathy of our team and we know they will do everything they can to ensure your ceremony is all you wish it to be.

About us

Agnostic Scotland is a not-for-profit organisation offering wedding, naming, funeral and other life transition ceremonies. All profits are reinvested into our Agnostic Scotland Sustainability Fund through which we network with and support organisations that align with our beliefs and values with the aim of effecting positive change within communities.

Celebrants fulfil an important role in Scotland in offering a personalised, supportive and tailored approach to ceremony provision. Through our Life Celebrancy training, we seek to develop and nourish a compassionate network of Agnostic Celebrants offering beautiful, relaxed, inclusive Agnostic ceremonies across Scotland. We support a fair pay approach for celebrants which values their time and skills. It is our hope that we will, one day, have representation in all local authority areas.

It is our aim to be a beacon of warmth, inclusivity, and good practice across Scotland.
