Our Role as Celebrants

Our Celebrants will be delighted to work with you to co-create, write and conduct a ceremony that reflects your own wishes, beliefs and values, whether that includes a faith-based, spiritual or non-religious ethos. All words, music, readings and rituals will be chosen entirely by you.

Our role varies depending on the family, couple or community. Most will request that we write the ceremony entirely on their behalf. Some know exactly what they are looking for and wish to write the ceremony themselves. Others might have some ideas but aren’t sure how to structure the ceremony and ask for our help in bringing their ideas together. We are happy to adapt our role to whatever suits your needs and wishes.

Prior to your ceremony, we are happy to meet with you several times either in person or, if you are further afield, by phone/online. We will provide you with plenty choices and ideas, on occasion examples of ceremonies, that may help give you inspiration as to what you would like to include in your own unique ceremony.

On the day itself, we are sometimes asked to be there before and after the ceremony to help ensure the fluidity of the day. Other times, we are simply requested to hold the space and conduct the ceremony. It is our policy for our celebrants to only conduct one ceremony each day, to ensure that we can give each couple, family or community our full attention.

We take great pride in creating thoughtful touches to make a ceremony beautiful.

Reach out. We look forward to hearing from you.
